Raleigh Aquarium Society’s Planted Aquarium Event (NC)

June 6, 2019 - June 9, 2019

Thursday June 6: Monthly meeting at NC CVM.
Start time 7:30pm. Speaker is Chris Smith on “Fertilization in Planted Aquaria.” Plus mini auction of fish, plants, etc.

Friday June 7: “Local aquatic plant and fish Collecting Field Trip”, Lead by Gerald Pottern.
Start time, meeting location and other details to be provided later.

Saturday June 8: Special RAS meeting at NC CVM.
Start time 1pm. “How to to ID Aquarium Plants”, presented by Gerald Pottern and “Identification of native and nursery grown aquatic plants”, presented by Cavan Allan (GWAPA and Smithsonian). Also a mini-auction with focus on plants. Participants can gather at NC CVM at 12:30pm. Location of 11:30am lunch with speaker will be announced later.
